Meet Garett Francis-Miller

CEO and Head of Human Resources

D. Garett Francis-Miller serves as the CEO of Big Ben’s Moving Service, the moving division of Big Ben’s Moving & Storage. In this role, he oversees the entire moving operation, working closely with operations managers, sales and marketing leadership, and finance to ensure the company delivers reliable, high-quality service for every customer. He also currently leads Human Resources for the moving division and collaborates closely with the Storage division leadership to maintain alignment across the organization. Garett began his career at Big Ben’s on the front lines, serving as a shift lead before advancing into the CEO role. His hands-on experience within the company gave him a deep understanding of the day-to-day logistics, team coordination, and customer care required to execute successful moves. Since stepping into leadership, his greatest impact has been helping transition the company from an early-stage, bootstrap startup into a more structured and system-driven organization—building processes, leadership accountability, and operational consistency while continuing to support the company’s growth.

Garett Francis-Miller, CEO

    Prior to joining Big Ben’s, Garett built more than a decade of management experience across several organizations. He served as Operations Manager and Customer Service Manager with Office Depot, where he led teams responsible for operational efficiency, merchandising execution, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Team Captain at Universal Studios Orlando, leading retail teams inside the park and helping drive high-energy customer engagement and sales performance.

    He also spent five years as Administrative Program Director for Re-Creation Retreat, where he oversaw administrative operations including HR, payroll, onboarding, compliance, budget forecasting, and organizational restructuring. During this time, the leadership team implemented system improvements that strengthened operational effectiveness and supported significant revenue growth.

    Garett brings a leadership style focused on accountability, operational clarity, and building strong teams that take pride in their work. His goal is to ensure every customer receives a smooth, professional moving experience supported by a well-trained and organized team.

    Outside of work, Garett enjoys CrossFit, outdoor recreation, and spending time with his family. He is a husband and father who values discipline, personal growth, and building strong relationships both at home and in the workplace.
