Meet Jarom Young
Executive Over Sales & Marketing, Big Ben’s Moving & Storage
Jarom Young grew up in Green River, Wyoming, the second of five kids and the only brother to four sisters. After high school, he stepped away from home to serve a church mission in Cape Verde, Africa, an experience that shaped his worldview and his deep-seated drive to make a positive impact on the people around him. While he was away, his family relocated to St. George, and he eventually joined them there, putting down roots in southern Utah for good.
Jarom went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in applied leadership from Dixie State University, a degree that reflects exactly how he approaches his work. It was also at Dixie where he met his wife. They’ve been married for over eight years and are raising two energetic boys, ages 7 and 3, with a third on the way.
At Big Ben’s Moving & Storage, Jarom leads sales and marketing as the executive over both departments. He’s been with the company for over four years, and the way he describes the role says a lot about how his mind works: he sees it like a game of chess, constantly studying the board, adjusting strategy, and finding the moves that drive real growth. That analytical, always-improving mindset is what makes him effective.
Outside of work, Jarom is an avid long-distance runner who has completed three marathons and counting. He’s equally at home on a trail, a climbing wall, or a campsite, and he now shares those outdoor adventures with his family. On slower days, you’ll likely find the Young household gathered around a board game.
Whether through his career, his community, or his everyday interactions, Jarom is motivated by something bigger than the job, a genuine desire to leave things better than he found them.
